My qnap is a Ts 453 A, but fine  I find this file and I could modificateur it. But when I tried to reach the server with the domain name ( my domain.myqnapcloud.com:8000) the server can’t be found. I have followed all your instructions but not have success. Do you have an idea?

Do I have to play this part on a terminal command with the qpkg installation of Bitwarden ? If yes when and how?

 »

docker run -d --name bitwarden \
  -e ROCKET_TLS='{certs="/ssl/certs.pem",key="/ssl/key.pem"}' \
  -v /ssl/keys/:/ssl/ \
  -v /bw-data/:/data/ \
  -p 443:80 \
  bitwardenrs/server:latest

thanks for helping

I forgot to tell that I can reach the server using a local address ip like https://178.123.1.123:8000 but when I tried with the domain name like my domain.myqnapcloud.com :8000 it doesn’t work. I have tried with my phone with the bitwarden app, also with an ipad and a pc on windows. Any clue?

Hi, where did you find the file? I can't find it

Hi,

Thanks for maintaining this package. I just performed the update, at login I have a (new) error message saying that the browser requires https to connect the web vault.  I don't need HTTPS since I connect to the vault only inside my private LAN. Is it possible to enable a connection in HTTP as before the update ?

Thank you for your help

Hello,

I've Bitwarden on my TS-228A (FW version 4.4.2.1270) and it was very cool since Yesterday.

I've updated the app in 1.14.2 and i don't have any access to Bitwarden. When i take a look thanks to putty and i try to start the service i get an error :

[/etc/init.d] # ./BitWarden.sh start
[/etc/init.d] # ./bitwarden_rs: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.1.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I can locate this name in my nas :

[/etc/init.d] # find / -iname "libssl.so.1.1"
/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/HybridBackup/CloudConnector3/python/lib/libssl.so.1.1
/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/BitWarden/lib/libssl.so.1.1

My questions are :  is it normal ? Where can i get this app ? is there a config file to update or change the path ?

Thanks for your answer :)

Kevin

Hello,

got Bitwarden sucessfully installed and https:// via a Letsencrypt certificate issued from the qnap ssl center running browsers.

When i try to connect to my domain and port via an android device i get following error message:

"Exeption message: java.security.cert CertPathValidatorExeption: Trust anchor for certification path not found.!

Paths to the ssl certificate are as shown in this thread.

ROCKET_TLS={certs="/mnt/HDA_ROOT/.config/QcloudSSLCertificate/cert/cert",key="/mnt/HDA_ROOT/.config/QcloudSSLCertificate/cert/key"}

Can someone please help me here?

Thanks in advance and have a good day!

Hi,

I got the same error.
But in addition I'm  using traefik as a reverse proxy.
I tested bitwarden on windows aswell as the chrome  extension.
While those a running really good on   the android phone I   got the exact same issues on several phones.

With those  I don't have a issue and all the SSL certs are fine.

For Android compatibility you should do this (got the same problem before and work like a charm) :

On your NAS , go to :

/mnt/ext/opt/QcloudSSLCertificate/bin

Edit this file generate_letsencrypt_csr.sh , add the blue line :

if [ ! -f "$QPKG_INSTALL_PATH/log/acme_error_code" ]; then
# rename cert_tmp to cert
/bin/mv $CERT_PATH/key_tmp $CERT_PATH/key
/bin/mv $CERT_PATH/cert_tmp $CERT_PATH/cert
/bin/mv $CERT_PATH/chain_tmp $CERT_PATH/chain
cat $CERT_PATH/cert $CERT_PATH/chain > $CERT_PATH/fullchain
fi

It will generate the fullchain when you renew your certificate thanks to letencrypt. Renew your actual certificate.

Put the fullchain instead of the cert :

ROCKET_TLS={certs="/mnt/HDA_ROOT/.config/QcloudSSLCertificate/cert/fullchain",key="/mnt/HDA_ROOT/.config/QcloudSSLCertificate/cert/key"}

Be carefull when you update the firmware of your nas, the file may be write again by the system.

Mhm sadly running still in the same issue.

Really hoped that it works out.

But as I understand the file is still the same as combine.
This is already provided from stock but didn't work either.

I bought this app thinking it was easy to install, but it is not. Could you do a little tutorial? Think that not everyone has your skills ;-)

Ok so at what point do you need help?
Have you already been in contact with the linux terminal/bash?

First things first, have you installed kitty or putty while I personally prefer kitty and winscp?

if not please go ahead and install them first.
