WakeOnLan

Recommended Posts

Excuse my lack of french.

Love this little tool, however as my webserver on my qnap is also publicly published, is there any way of password protecting this file or folder so someone browsing my web server or whatever doesn't stumble across the page and discover my mac addresses and also maliciously alter the config.

Thanks

can I contribute to this project? is it on github or any other repository?

I would like to suggest to use only https links to cdn stuff so it is possibile to use the https web server, otherwise the mix error is thrown.

I've attached the index.php modified (also log.php should be modified).

Hey guys,

I don't know if I am posting in the right area, but a general question I have is.

For the

$sitename

The site name

field, what if you do not have a domain registered to you?

I was hoping to just perform Wake On Lan by using port forwarding out my broadcast IP address.

Can this field be left blank?

Is this application only for those who have their own domain?

Because it does not specify any of this.

- Thank You

You can put whatever you want for the site name, it's just what the page puts on the default html when you choose what computer to wake up, I just left mine at the default.
